About Kathy Bindu
Within a couple of months she met her spiritual teacher, an enlightened master, who spoke about the inner journey, the inner world, and the importance of meditation. Immediately, she recognized that his teachings were the answer to her question and the knowledge she was seeking. For the next six years, Kathy lived full-time in meditation centers in India and around the world, and traveled on staff with her teacher. She immersed herself in study, meditation and the journey of self-discovery.
Since then, she has continued to study with some of the greatest spiritual and human potential teachers of our time. For over 30 years, her desire to understand and experience the innermost nature of human beings has continued to be the focal point of her life.
Kathy is available for public speaking and is at her best when interacting with an audience. Her relaxed style puts participants at ease and creates a perfect setting for insights and breakthroughs to occur.
In 1976, Kathy Bindu was living in southern California, when quite unexpectedly, she had an experience that would forever change her life. As she stood in her apartment looking out the window, she was overcome with a powerful feeling that came from deep within - she sensed that there had to be more to life than what the eye could see. She currently leads Living in the Present Moment Workshops and Classes focused on self-discovery, and teaches Present Moment Meditation. Her modern, practical and light-hearted approach blends the multi-cultural teachings of the great masters with simple techniques that can easily be applied to everyday living.
